Welcome to Teacher Tapp Ghana!
We are delighted to bring Teacher Tapp to Ghana in January 2020. This page explains how Teacher Tapp works, how you can download the app and what to do if you have any questions or comments to share with us.
What is Teacher Tapp?
After success in the UK, we are excited to be bringing Teacher Tapp to Ghana to help teachers across the country share their opinions and access reading that will help them with their jobs.
Teacher Tapp has a simple mission: to help teachers be the best.
We do this through our Teacher Tapp app. The app sends questions to teachers from across Ghana to find out about their lives as teachers and about their attitudes towards education.
After answering these questions, teachers get access to an article about the best new methods of effective teaching.
How Does the App Work?
The Teacher Tapp app is free to download, quick to set up and easy to use.
Teachers who sign up receive a notification on their phone at 3:30 pm each day, to take part in that day’s short survey. Questions are simple and the poll takes only one or two minutes to complete.
At the end of the survey, teachers find out how other teachers in Ghana answered questions from the day before and receive a daily piece of free professional development, including articles and top tips to improve teaching.
What are the benefits of using Teacher Tapp?
Our users tell us the main benefits of using Teacher Tapp are:
- Learning about the experiences of teachers from other schools in your country
- Using the daily reading to help you with challenges you face at work
- Using the daily reading as free professional development
- Getting the opportunity to reflect on your job and profession
We understand that teachers are often busy. But our questions take less than two minutes to answer and the reading you receive will usually have practical tips you can use to start improving your teaching straight away.
